You know you want it, sister 😉
OK well, it’s pretty basic really.
I made enough for two, but I ate all the tomatoes myself…*ahem*
Get your hands on:
1 Bunch of Asparagus (for 2 people)
250g Bacon Rashers
Some lovely, vine-ripened tomatoes
Bonus Points: A few torn Basil leaves
Salt & Pepper
Now here’s what you do:
Preheat the grill in your oven to (basically) the highest temperature – we’re going to broil those suckers!
Take 3 Stems of Asparagus & wrap them in 2 Rashers of Bacon, place on baking tray
Cut your lovely tomatoes down the middle, drizzle with olive oil, rip those basil leaves over the top and grind that pepper over them
Whack them into the oven on the top level, grill for 5 minutes, turn (with tongs) and grill for another 5 minutes
Oh, you might want to cook some eggs while you’re busy grilling too 😉 And don’t forget that coffee!
